Rod is a qualified Equestrian Australia riding instructor with 30 years’ experience in instructing and 40 years’ experience as a farrier. 

 

This has enabled Rod to compete in such events as the renowned Mongolian Derby 2018 which is regarded as the longest and toughest horse race in the world.

 

Rod is able to use therapeutic horseback riding or Equine Assisted Therapy to help all participants to improve their balance, posture, muscle tone and coordination as well as reducing anxiety, improving confidence, well-being and providing a real sense of pride and achievement.
